Learn the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing. Create handmade functional pottery, experiment with various glazes, and learn about safety in the ceramics studio. Advanced surface and glaze application techniques will also be explored. Classes will include a brief weekly group critique designed to help students develop a more critical eye towards their work.
